It is available in MEI 38/200, MEI 45/150 and MEI 45/250 type of profiles in a choice of gauges, paint finishes and colours. These profile claddings provide a neat and attractive building appearance. Ideal for use as roof and wall cladding, it can also be curved to give additional design flexibility at the eaves and ridge. MEI Cladding offers a broad choice of materials, protective coating and structural strength to optimize design requirements and durability.


Span Design Criteria
Steel yield strength 345 N/mm2, Elastic Modulus 205 KN/mm2.
Aluminium yield 170 N/mm2, modulus 70 KN/mm2.
Maximum combination of working loads 1.5 KN/m2.
Span selected as the minimum value from pressure and suction cases,   assuming no bond slip.
Bottom skin (Liner) thickness = 0.5mm.
Allowable elastic deflection is L/150 < 20mm.
Multi-span construction.

Conductivity Calculated with the following conditions:
Thermal conductivity of polyurethane (P.U.) is 0.02 W/m.0C.
Thermal conductivity of polystyrene (EPS) is 0.32 W/m.0C.
Metal Sheets Ignored.
Summer condition at Roof (Heat transfers from out to inside).
External wind speed 7.5 Mph (4m sec), still air inside.
Equivalent thickness (including ribs) equals the total insulated volume/heat drained area.
